Bloodclan strikes

Everbreeze patroled the forest with Thornclaw,Whitestorm,and Ferncloud. Whitestorm led the patrol. The tabby lifted her nose to sky ,scenting for any scent of Bloodclan. Thornclaw halted in the spot he turned and looked back at her curiously. "Do you smell any Bloodclan cats around here ?" he asked.

Whitestorm and the rest of the patrol stopped in their tracks and turned their attention to the two Thunderclan warriors. Whitestorm padded to Thornclaw's side and meowed ,"Everbreeze you scented any Bloodclanners yet?" She lowered head from the sky and mewed , " No. Just making sure their not our territory attempting to do what I think was obvoius at the gathering we went to last time." Anixetiy pricked at her paws as she remebered what the Bloodclan leader , Glare , said. Starclan before that sent her a prohpecy invovling Thunderclan and Bloodclan at the sametime. The dream made her uneasy since then , everytime she goes into the forest makes her think she'll return to chaos , dead clanmates, and the scent of blood hanging thick in the air. Then there was Bluestar. She did even try to Everbreeze in her time of deseparation!

"There's no need to worry , Everbreeze. Besides, if Bloodclan does attack , we'll be ready to defend Thunderclan faster than you can say "mouse"! " It was Thornclaw who spoke.

"I'm glad you're pround of Thunderclan , Thornclaw. But don't think Glare will not attack the camp and steal Thunderclan's territory for himself. I know his true ambitions all to well to let him fool me to think he'll spare our lives." Everbreeze mewed solomonly to the tom.Thornclaw's fur rose , bristling.

He hissed. " You're not Starclan , Everbreeze! How do you know anyways?!"

"Because when a Bloodclan ambushed us in an attempt to defeat us and steal our territory , I was with an hunting patrol. Thats when it happened. And many other accounts happened like this and eventually we crossed paths in gatherings. You understand now?"

The whole patrol stared at in shock. "So thats she knows Glare so well!" Thought Frencloud." She'd been ambushed some many times that she began to learn something about the Bloodclan leader."

" I see. But next time try not show off ." Meowed Whitestorm. Then turn tail and yowled to other cats. " Come on! We should at SunningRocks by now." They nodded and began to pad after the white tom. Thornclaw turned tailed and followed them. "I'll try , Whitestorm." she mewed.

"You don't have to belive me , Thornclaw. But please be careful?" She pleaded knowing she was going to be burned in the end. The warrior spun around a meowed , " In that case then. I agree with on that , you're not the boss of me! So tread on some other cat's tail!" Then stalked , fuming. A feeling of regret , suspusion , and anger overcame her as she trailed behind them. For the rest of the time, she kept her jaw shut and spoke when needed. A twing of doubt filled the back of her mind. Could the attack happen today?

But one thing was for sure. Speckleleaf , even though they were friends, would rip off her pelt if she'd ever found out about this inncident from any cat on this patrol.

Suddenly, Everbreeze stopped in her tracks with rest of the patrol to see Speckleleaf with two Bloodclannners at the edge of the lake. Whitestorm signaled Thornclaw to follow and the other cats to stay where they. "When you hear me or Thornclaw yowl spring out the bushes and assisst us. Got it?" he instructed. Both she-cats noded in understanding.

Ferncloud and Everbreeze heard the two bloodclanners sreech in alarm and one dull thud aganist the dry earth. Then came the sreech. Immediately both of the Thunderclan she-cats charged out into the clearing attacked two bloodclannners that clung to Thornclaw and Whitestorm. Everbreeze pinned a she-cat and began wristle with her , claws steahed. Everbreeze threw the Bloodclan she-cat into the ice-cold river and darted over to Ferncloud , who was pinned by a tom. She clawed he tom's side while Ferncloud bit down into his shoulder. After that , the Bloodclanners fleed liked kits back to their territory. Bloodclan was more territory hungry than ever. But knowing that saved the medicine cat when she could defend herself just made her feel all the more guiltly. Then the same two toms charged back to the clearing , more furious than wild fire. But Everbreeze was as furious a badger. The warrior charged at Sasuke and pinned him forcfully,thinking nothing but how much she hated him.
"We'll never let you steal our territory , Sasuke." Her fury was that of an badger's. Her fur bristled.

Glare heard the noise of a battle on the breeze. The noises sounded like there was more aggresive fighting than any of these pathetic kittycat's could be, or perhaps one actually can someday be Bloodclan material? But then Glare picked up a scent -- Bloodclan, two of them, and five forest cats. Glare was infuriated! The two cats of Bloodclan had obviously snuck away and was ambushed! Once Glare got ahold of them, they'll be so scared of him they'll go crying to the forest cats, begging them to take them in! But Glare could not simply leave. Glare turned to his deputy, Wild, and asked her to keep everyone in line. " Wild, I'm going to leave for a moment. I have something to attend to. While I'm gone, your in charge. Whatever you do, don't allow them to attack the forest cats yet." Not waiting for an answer, Glare turned his back on her and headed towards the lake.

By the time when Glare got to the battle, one of his warriors let out a loud yowl of pain. He saw it was Gaara. Then he saw Sasuke, another warrior, and Glare's possibly loyal spy, battling with a cat he had met on many other occasions. One cat that somehow was dumb enough to resist death. Everbreeze. He put his cats back in line and ordered them to fight. "Gaara! You are a disgrace! You make me sick, acting like a fool and sitting there, crying in pain! Sasuke, pick up the fool and leave the road-kill to me." Another pure evil grin crossed Glare's face as he imagined the glory of ripping the cats to pieces. Glare charged at Everbreeze, claws un-sheathed and ready for the kill. He faked her out by pretending to jump on her, when he really tried to ram her with his shoulder. He knocked her back and pounced on her. He pinned her down and only wanted to talk to her before he released her and they fought the true battle. " Well, we simply must stop meeting like this. Your actually almost a challenge for me. Could I maybe recieve your name before your untimely demise?" Glare let out his classic evil laugh and it shook the forest in fear.

Glare knew that the enemy he had fought so many times was foolish, but now he was sure she was a complete idiot. He simply bit back into her pelt and ripped her off of him. "What? Why in the world would you believe that I want to take your homes? Having a large land to live in is nothing compared to what every single Bloodclan cat wants: POWER!These wounds are nothing! You are doomed! I will kill you, and all of your little kittycat friends!" Glare's loud mocking yell went down to a small whisper "That is. . . unless. . . you decide to join the winning side. Think about it, power, glory, cats bowing at the very site of you. You'll be better than that Starclan ever was. The two of us will rule the forest with an iron fist, conquering all who oppose us. Well, what do you think?"

The tabby paused at Glare's offer. She wanted the Thunderclanners to take her seriously but in this way."No , Glare. I will not take your side in this war of ours. I'd rather be a cat Starclan approves of instead of being a dirty theif." She began to kick his with her hindlegs until she was able to throw him aganist a tree.She looked over at Speckleleaf and spirinted foward to her.

Before Sasuke could kill her , she leapt between them and began to claw at the tom nonstop like a queen protecting her her kits. Everbreeze fought harder than usual with the urge to protect to comrade energizing her. The Bloodclan cats fled the clearing with their tails between their legs , leaving the Thunderclan warriors wounded and furious. The battle had gone to a full scale war! The bite to shoulder that Sasuke had given her was enough to kill an adult badger. The world around her began to faded into darkness.

Everbreeze felt as if a leech were clung to her body. The battle had drained her of most of her enegry. She drooped and jerked her head up until she felt as if could not longer stand being on her paws. The tabby collasped onto the earth , now finding herself between life and death. "Starclan , please spare me,"begged the she-cat."I...I don't want to leave my clan in these hard times."Voices called out her name to her but they seemed so far away. Was she actually going to Starclan? Her spirit then fought to wake up.

OOC: Just so you know Everbreeze, the invasion on Thunderclan has yet to begin. Wild's holding Bloodclan back and Sasuke and Gaara had gone near the river where Speckleleaf was to get revenge on her. Then Glare left to find Gaara and Sasuke.

Glare got up and walked over to the dying opponent. He put his face right in front of her face and hissed the most evil noise that had ever escaped his lips. Then he laughed at all the pain Everbreeze was suffering. He then got control of himself and put his paw on her head, his claws sheathed. He spoke in her face still. " Well, now will you consider my offer? I could save you. . ." Glare unsheathed the claw on his opponents head. " . . . or I could snap your neck in an instant! So, which are you now, friend or foe? For your sake, I hope its friend."
