back in camp, hollyflower said, "did you hear taht?"
bramble was good friends with jayfeather and was heading for thunderclan to say hi

Rex came along with bramble , but was cautious of lionclaw. It was now his mother's birthday today and pained him so much that he couldn't bare to stay at camp with angel, his sister, sick with greencough. Maybe , he was a coward to see her like that.... shaking his head he meowed," I bet the others would be suprised to us...."
Everbreeze heard the voice of jayfeather along with the group and wondered why it took him so long to hunt but she wouldn't blame him for the srace prey.

"No thank you, bramble. I promised angel that I'd return to camp but I might come over depending on her condition." Rex says, nearly laughing. He felt somewhat uncomfortable the next heartbeat, did bramble know about his crush on everbreeze, the thunderclan warrior?

Everbreeze heardd a loud splash, immediately she dashed and signaled hollyflower to follow to come help her pulled him out of the freezing water. Lionclaw seemed a bit shocked when he heard his brother's voice and this concerned her for a minute but dawnpaw doesn't yet. When they reached the river, Everbreeze saw a hole in th ice and slowly began to pad out to it. " Great starclan, he's so mouse-brained!" Then dove in after her friend and fel it's icey chill pass through her as well.

jayfeather felt like he was freezing, his paws had gone numb and he couldnt swim, and his lungs where about to burst, was this the end??? as a last burst of hope, he yowled" help!!!!"

Everbreeze heard his cry and grasped the tom's neckfur then sprang out of the hole with him in her jaws , fur clinging to her body. "jayfetaher!" She gasped , nearly hissing like a queen worried about her kit. ' How could you do such a mouse-brained thing? "

after almost 1 hour, he managed to finish his story, but had forgotten about lionclaw telling him the secret, then blacked out from cold
