" Sure...the elders do need some since we've been unusually low this season. " Says the she-cat, whose fur was drying even though the air was bitterly cold. Praying that she may not get greencough or a cold , she hoped Rex hadn't found to early of her and lionclaw being mates.

"ok, ill go fetch us some freshkill and some for the elders, be right back" said lionclaw as he was running to the fresh kill pile.
bramble walked into the camp,"hey guys!!" yowled bramble, and he ran to where jayfeather was and started talking to him.

Rex walked up his friends with bramble then mewed," Hi. How are things going this leafbare?" While, everbreeze went along with her mate to help him with the elders, Rex spotted her then noted that every time he visited, she was either with lionclaw and his siblings, with him, or with some other cats who were her friends.

Rex was curious about this then asked,'' Why have everbreeze and lionclaw been hanging out with other all the time?" Dawnpaw came back with a jaw full of two mice then carried them to two of the elders , whom thanked her doing so, and noticed the kittypets. " They should join if they come he every time like this!" She thought to herself.
Rex, on the other hand, was handling his sister's death due to greencough, pretty well but had some open wounds. She suffered so much he couldn't stand it, he wished it was him in her place but it wasn't .

After everbreeze had attended to the rest of the elders, including her mother, while lionclaw finished his own duty to the clan she caught rex in camp but waited for the golden furred tom to finish. They've been going on alot of patrols toghter, mostly night patrols though, when need.

Rex stayed well away frm lionclaw but was offended to hear that they've been togther on night patrols. Claws out he mewed," I just hope their not more than friends." Dawmpaw on the other hand, was growing irrated at this.
