Plot v1: The Lost Memories

Long ago, there were many cats in the forest who had painful, mournful memories. They would cry deep in the night just of one thought of these memories. But, then a rough and violent kittypet came into the forest; they turned out to be a cat who had died and returned to seek revenge on the clans who killed him. But, along with the curse he gave, he gave a gift too.
He wiped away those horrible memories. But, he also wiped off their regular memories. Littermates and friends became enemies, and the forest turned to war. No one knew really who was leader, but only the strongest survived.
But, one elder, her name was Silverpelt, scratched the records of this on the walls of the trees at fourtrees. Her memories were the only ones who were still there in her mind. She was thought mental; kits threw rocks and stones and sticks at her. But when she died, she never gave up hope.
Now, as the other cats are finding the clues she left behind, their thoughts and memories are restored, but will they uncover the mystery and end this lifelong war? Or will they end up dying; never to have their voices be heard?
